This comfortable and cheap hostel is exactly what it states and more. Antique hostel is in the best location in Sultanahmet as it is right behind the Blue Mosque. The staff is amazing - each one of them helped me so much. The room was cheap and clean, the bed was great, the bathroom and shower were clean and warm. The lounge was amazing - the views of the sea and the atmosphere in the lounge was worth a million dollars. The staff at the lounge were great and the breakfast was so fresh and tasty. I loved it at Antique Hostel which is the best hotels in istanbul and will come back next time I am in Istanbul.

Antique hostel is really well situated in the old town – Sultanahmet * istanbul and the hotel is quite easy to find. Its really just about a 3 (real) minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and blue mosque and the area around the hostel is nice with boutique style shops, a market and nice restaurants. This cheap hostel has a rooftop bar serving food too. Definitely recommended.

Had a great accommodation in best hostel in istanbul. Location is great, a 5 min walk from the main historical attractions and near plenty of cafesetc. Free breakfast was generous and delicious! Best location of old city. Staff was friendly and fun atmosphere on the terrace level with bar, restaurant and lots of board games and card games for downtime. Room was clean, private bath especially so. İstanbul Ataturk Airport transfer easy cheap and reliable. Great stay thank you!

Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and clean and cheap accommodation (I stayed in the double bed ensuite room), delicious breakfast and an amazing location-- just a minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, Ayasofia and Topkapi Palace. I would highly recommend the Antique Hostels in Istanbul.

Antique hostel is a very good place to stay in Istanbul. It is cheap, and you will be happy with everything they have to offer. The beds, toilets, showers are all in good quality. The upstairs terrace is amazing to relax and enjoy the view over Istanbul. Only positive thing is the breakfast, tea coffee in the morning is unlimited.The best hotel in istanbul sultanahmet. Good place overall :)

Antique Hostel is a fantastic place to stay and experience Istanbul in full. They offer a good breakfast, the rooms are clean and the people are helpful, friendly and informative without asking for nothing in return. The view from the terrace is phenomenal. Very clean and safe, super location, helpful and knowledgable staff (also very nice and fun!). Wi-fi, playstation, board games, books, travel resources and breakfast for free. Super fun bar and rooftop terrace playing good music and offering great drinks and food for sale. I booked for 4 nights, added 1 and later in my trip returned for another 2. I travelled solo and stayed in the dorm so things were modest by my choice- but this place is fantastic and I would recommend it highly! Best hostel in Istanbul.

This hotel located in an ideal place to discover the historic areas of Istanbul. Hostel is cheapest in Sultanahmet. The hostel has rooftop bar where you can see a good view of the sea, also breakfast is served. The entire hostel is very relaxed and staff are also nice and friendly. Wifi is free and stable. Souveniours, carpet shops, mini shop, cafes, bars and restaurant are all neighbours - yes, the location is excellent. Just to make sure bring a map to get the place from the tram station for the first time, very easy to find the hostel.

Hostel location is great. From the terrace you can see the Bosphorus and you are at 5 min walking distance from the main attractions in Istanbul (Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque). The guys from the reception are very friendly and kind.

Location is great - just the same place as many other pensions (Sultanahmet). Staff was great: we received very good information about Istanbul (and the hostel, of course) upon arrival. Guys at the bar at night were always very kind, and the bar was a cool place to a nightcap. Room was small but good enough. I also checked the dorms (our room was a double ensuite) and they seemed to be pretty good.

it is in the heart of old İstanbul ( Sultanahmet ), it has a few rooms for people that like to have their own space and it also has dorms for young people that like to travel on budget. it is very clean. receptions are helpful and friendly. breakfast is served on the terrace where there is a nice little restaurant with great sea view. the place is a few steps a way from Saint Sophia Museum and Blue Mosque. it is great little place to stay and make sure you go and spend sometimes on their wonderful terrace. I think this is the best pension of Sultanahmet (old city)

Excellent value for money, perfect location for sightseeing in old city of Istanbul and for arriving from the airport by public tranport. Hostel is in the middle of Istanbul’s best attractions. Very good breakfast, cheap accommodation, capable staff that can arrange any excursion/transfer/ticket booking around the clock. There's heating and air conditioning at the hostel and they didn't spare on either. Rooms are kept very clean and sheets and towels changed regulary, regardless that we had a room in a hostel.

Great location, spotlessly clean, and an unparalleled view from the breakfast area/bar (seriously bring your camera). More of a guesthouse, upscale feel, but this is a nice change of pace from typical hostels. Go here if you're looking for a calm center in the heart of Istanbul!

Everything was great. Staff was great, kind, polite, borrowed us umbrellas. hostel looks great, neat with lot of explanations about hostel and rules in it. We could use internet also in caffe upstairs. room was clean, great balcony. thanks anyway!

It's our second stay at the Antique Hostel matched all our requirements. Great location for the main sights (Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque etc). Our private, en-suite room was large and comfortable with 24-hour hot water. Free Buffet breakfast (served on the roof terrace with great views over the Marmara Sea and Prince's Islands, İstanbul) was perfect for filling up on before going off to explore the sights of old city in İstanbul.

Definetely one of the best hostels in Istanbul I've stayed. The biggest plus is the very friendly and helpful stuff (thanks for the coffee in the morning). There's a good breakfast in the morning and the view from the rooftop is awesome. The location is just perfect to see all the important spots in Istanbul. If you're flight goes early you can use the fast Airport Service, which is only 12TL to Ataturk.

Very good located, walking distance from all main attractions. We had a double room, if you are not looking for much comfort, I think the price worths the place. Rooms are clean, reasonable breakfeast, I would stay there again.

Friendly and very kind staff, fantastic view on the sea from the bar, where the breakfast is served up. There is cleanness room, the air conditioner works. Onto a couple of steps from Hagia Sophia in a quiet little street. The free parking solved. Recommended!
